Since I was young my family always sets up a huge Christmas tree in our living room right after the Halloween. My father always takes time to go in a Christmas tree store and hand pick a pine that he will bring at home. In my hometown , there are a lot of pine trees and when you want to have a real Christmas tree, you can go in a Christmas tree farm and pick your choice. They will cut the tree that same day after you made the purchase and you will bring home a fresh pine tree ready for the yuletide season. Years passed, I landed in a stable job in the city and there are not much pine tree in our area. Buying a real tree is very inconvenient on our part since we live in the twentieth floor of our condominium unit.
